{"id":2413,"date":"2020-12-28T10:16:45","date_gmt":"2020-12-28T16:16:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/delphijustin.biz\/?p=2413"},"modified":"2021-02-12T11:12:14","modified_gmt":"2021-02-12T17:12:14","slug":"how-to-change-tv-channel-from-the-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/delphijustin.biz\/how-to-change-tv-channel-from-the-network\/","title":{"rendered":"How to change TV channel from the network"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>NOTE: THIS PLUGIN DOESN&#8217;T WORK USE THE DEFAULT SERIAL PORT ARDUINO BUILT-IN PLUGIN INSTEAD<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a way to change the TV channel from Arduino, Network and computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is what you will need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allelectronics.com\/item\/iled-13\/infrared-led-5mm\/1.html\">1x IR LED<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allelectronics.com\/item\/st-1089\/ir-receiver-module\/1.html\">1x IR Receiver module<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allelectronics.com\/item\/ard-20\/nano-atmega328-microcontroller-board-w\/usb-port\/1.html\">1x Arduino Board<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allelectronics.com\/item\/2n3904\/2n3904-npn-to-92-transistor\/1.html\">1x NPN General Purpose Transistor<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allelectronics.com\/item\/291-470\/470-ohm-1\/4-watt-resistor\/1.html\">1x 470 ohm resistor<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allelectronics.com\/item\/cb-422\/mini-usb-to-usb-cable-3\/1.html\">1x Mini USB Cable<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solder and soldering iron<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allelectronics.com\/item\/jf12-10\/12-jumper-wires-f\/f-10-pack\/1.html\">Jumper wires<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Download IRLib2 and unzip the following folders to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">&lt;ArduinoPath&gt;\\libraries<\/span> If they are installed correctly you will see IRLib2 in the examples section of Arduino IDE.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>IRLib2<\/li><li>IRLibFreq<\/li><li>IRLibProtocols<\/li><li>IRLibRecv<\/li><li>IRLibRecvPCI<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Download <a href=\"\/wp-content\/udvr-remotes\/telnetrc.zip\">TelnetRC.zip<\/a> and modify telnetrc.ino to use your remote controller. There&#8217;s even a plugin that let&#8217;s you use <a href=\"https:\/\/delphijustin.biz\/unreal-dvr\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1774\">Unreal DVR<\/a> to schedule shows<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Calibrate the program by using the rawRecv tool that comes with IRLib2. You can find it by looking in Examples menu under IRLib2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Wire up the receiver module with Pin 3 of the receiver connected to pin 2 of the Arduino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Upload telnetrc.ino with the new calibrated variables.
