The reason! Why I built it was to make my cell phone reach the outlet. I just used 2 strains of wires connected to both ends. The one I built has 3 different kinds of wires. This is because I wanted to build it out of what I had. I added it up and it should be over 9 foot<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-441 alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/delphijustin.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190819_183202.jpg\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1920\" data-temp-aztec-id=\"1dc08854-7159-448d-a442-503a081f0c16\" srcset=\"https:\/\/delphijustin.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190819_183202.jpg 2560w, https:\/\/delphijustin.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190819_183202-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/delphijustin.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190819_183202-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/delphijustin.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190819_183202-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/delphijustin.biz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/IMG_20190819_183202-1568x1176.jpg 1568w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2560px) 100vw, 2560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what you need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A cigarette lighter female and male connectors(with or without wires pre-soldered)<\/li>\n<li>A pair of wires (color coded preferred, doesn&#8217;t have to be color coded it should be hookup or speaker wire)<\/li>\n<li>A roll of rosin core solder (don&#8217;t use acid core solder or plumbing solder) if you don&#8217;t want to solder then you could use butt connectors,but you will need to crimp them. Butt connectors are totally useless if you just get the connectors without pre-soldered wires.<\/li>\n<li>Electric tape or heatshrinks(needed to make sure that the solder joints don&#8217;t touch)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"\/\/delphianserver.com\/counter\/ibuiltit.js\"><\/script>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This do-it-yourself extension cord is simple and straight forward.
